15 minutes from the McKinney studio

Frisco Boudoir Photographer.

Frisco sits 15 minutes west of our McKinney studio. The proximity, plus the city's concentration of professionals and young families, makes it the second-largest source of Marilyn Lou clients after Dallas itself. Sessions here are typically booked midweek, when traffic up the Dallas North Tollway is light.

Frisco brides often pair bridal boudoir with their planning timeline at venues in Star or Stonebriar, then return for anniversary sessions in the following years. Maternity and couples bookings are especially common from this city.

Frisco runs on the corridor between the Dallas North Tollway and the Preston Road retail spine. Our Frisco clients are often booking around the city's wedding calendar at venues near Stonebriar and The Star, or treating a session as a reset between the demands of young kids and demanding jobs. Many pair the short trip with lunch in downtown McKinney or a stop in the Frisco shops on the way home.

Frisco's proximity to McKinney makes it the easiest market in the metroplex to serve. Most Frisco clients book on shorter notice than clients from further out, and many treat the studio as their default for boudoir, returning over multiple years for new milestones. The 15-minute drive means session day is not an all-day undertaking.

Bridal boudoir dominates from Frisco, tracking the city's strong wedding industry. Maternity is second, with most maternity clients returning later for either couples or family-format glamour sessions. Frisco-area clients tend to favor album-first product orders.

From most of Frisco the fastest route is Highway 380 east to Highway 75, then one exit north to West University Drive. Door to door it is 12 to 18 minutes depending on whether you start near the Tollway or out toward Custer. Parking at the studio is free and dedicated. The drive is short enough that Frisco clients routinely book morning sessions and are home before school pickup.

Frisco questions

From Frisco clients.

What is the drive route from Frisco?
Most Frisco clients take Highway 380 east to Highway 75, then north one exit to West University Drive. Drive time is 12 to 18 minutes depending on traffic and which part of Frisco you are coming from.
Do you photograph Frisco weddings?
We do not photograph full weddings. The studio is exclusively boudoir, bridal boudoir, glamour, maternity, and couples. We can refer to trusted wedding photographers in the Frisco market.
Can I come for a session between school runs?
The session runs three to five hours with hair and makeup, so it is not a quick errand. But the short Frisco drive means it does not eat your whole day. Most Frisco clients do a late-morning start and are done by mid-afternoon.
Do you work with Frisco wedding venues or planners?
We photograph bridal boudoir for brides marrying at Frisco-area venues regularly, and we are happy to coordinate timing with your planner so the album is ready before the date. We do not shoot the weddings themselves.
What does a Marilyn Lou Boudoir session cost in Frisco?
Session fees start at $399 for studio sessions and $549 for location sessions. Hair and makeup is available. Products are purchased separately. Most Frisco clients invest between $1,000 and $2,000 total.
How long is the session for Frisco clients?
Plan on four to five hours start to finish: 60 to 90 minutes of professional hair and makeup, then two to three hours of directed photography across multiple wardrobe changes and setups.
What if I have never done a boudoir session before?
Most clients have not. The studio is designed around the assumption you do not know how to pose, what to wear, or what to do with your hands. Every part of the session is directed.
