25 minutes from the McKinney studio
Plano Boudoir Photographer.
Plano is the third-largest source of our clients and one of the easiest cities to serve from McKinney: a straight shot south on Highway 75. Many Plano clients book during their lunch hour, taking advantage of the proximity for a session, hair and makeup, and reveal appointment all in the same day.

Plano clients are often executives, physicians, and entrepreneurs working at Legacy West or in the corporate corridor along the Dallas North Tollway. Personal branding glamour and classic boudoir are the two most-requested formats.
Plano's center of gravity has shifted to Legacy West and the corporate campuses along the Tollway, and a large share of our Plano clients work in that corridor: executives, physicians, founders, and senior managers with the kind of schedule that rewards a studio twenty-five minutes up the highway. Many book a session as a milestone marker and quietly use a few frames from the glamour set for speaking bios, board pages, and press.
Plano has a high concentration of women in roles where a polished portrait library has real professional value. The studio's glamour format, combined with the editorial direction across all session types, lets Plano clients use the work across both personal and professional contexts. The 25-minute drive is short enough that many book during the workday.
Glamour and classic boudoir lead. Many Plano sessions combine a glamour set (for professional use) with a private boudoir set (for personal use) in the same day. Album-plus-wall-art orders are common, with wall pieces often sized for home offices.
From Plano the route is Highway 75 straight north for about 25 minutes to the West University Drive exit. West Plano clients near the Tollway sometimes prefer the Sam Rayburn Tollway connection; either way it is under half an hour. Studio parking is free and dedicated, and the central McKinney location means a workday session is realistic: leave at nine, hair and makeup by ten, photographed by early afternoon.

Plano questions
From Plano clients.
- Can I book a session during my workday?
- Yes. We offer weekday slots starting as early as 9am and as late as 4pm. A typical session day from Plano is leave at 9, hair and makeup by 10, photography 11 to 2, back at your desk or home by 2:30.
- Can you photograph for personal branding use?
- Yes. Glamour and editorial portrait sessions can be licensed for personal-brand and business use at the time of order. Mention the intent in your inquiry so we can plan a section of the session for professional channels.
- Is the studio discreet enough for someone with a public role?
- Yes. Sessions are private, the doors stay locked, and no image is published without your written release. Many of our Plano clients hold visible professional roles and keep their work entirely private.
- Can I do a glamour set and a boudoir set in one day?
- Yes, and many Plano clients do exactly that: a glamour set for professional use and a private boudoir set for themselves, in a single session day. We plan wardrobe and lighting for both at booking.
- What does a Marilyn Lou Boudoir session cost in Plano?
- Session fees start at $399 for studio sessions and $549 for location sessions. Hair and makeup is available. Products are purchased separately. Most Plano clients invest between $1,000 and $2,000 total.
- How long is the session for Plano clients?
- Plan on four to five hours start to finish: 60 to 90 minutes of professional hair and makeup, then two to three hours of directed photography across multiple wardrobe changes and setups.
- What if I have never done a boudoir session before?
- Most clients have not. The studio is designed around the assumption you do not know how to pose, what to wear, or what to do with your hands. Every part of the session is directed.
