OC bookings span the full range of session types, but bridal boudoir and classic milestone work dominate. The county's strong wedding industry produces a steady flow of bridal commissions on six-to-eight-week timelines.

Orange County clients book with the LA studio for the editorial style and the consistency of the work across both LA County and OC. The mobile model means we serve specific cities (Newport, Laguna, Irvine, Costa Mesa) at the same quality bar as our LA work, which is the main reason clients choose us over OC-specific photographers.

Bridal boudoir leads, with classic boudoir close behind. Wedding-industry referrals account for a meaningful share of inquiries. Most OC sessions are in-home, taking advantage of clients' residences for natural light and privacy.

Orange County questions

From Orange County clients.

Which OC cities do you serve?
Most regularly: Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Dana Point. We can travel further south or inland with a per-booking quote.
Is there a separate OC studio?
No. The LA studio runs as one mobile operation across LA County and Orange County. The same photographer, hair and makeup team, and process serves both regions.
What does a Marilyn Lou Boudoir session cost in Orange County?
Session fees start at $399 for studio sessions and $549 for location sessions. Hair and makeup is available. Products are purchased separately. Most Orange County clients invest between $1,000 and $2,000 total.
How long is the session for Orange County clients?
Plan on four to five hours start to finish: 60 to 90 minutes of professional hair and makeup, then two to three hours of directed photography across multiple wardrobe changes and setups.
What if I have never done a boudoir session before?
Most clients have not. The studio is designed around the assumption you do not know how to pose, what to wear, or what to do with your hands. Every part of the session is directed.
