Marilyn Lou Boudoir respects your privacy. This page summarizes what we collect, why, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), location preference, session type interest, and any message you write to us. When you book a session, we collect billing information necessary to process payment.

How we use it

Information from inquiries is used to respond to you, schedule sessions, send wardrobe guides, and follow up after your session. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on our inquiry form, you agree to receive text messages from Marilyn Lou Boudoir at the phone number you provide, including appointment, customer-care, and marketing messages, some sent using automated technology. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of booking a session. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. We honor opt-out requests promptly and send messages only during permitted hours.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The phone number and the consent you provide when opting in to text messaging will not be shared with any third parties.

Your imagery

Photographs created during your session are not shared publicly without your written consent. Our studio model release is opt-in, not opt-out. If you decline release, your images remain entirely private.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Analytics and, optionally, Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect anonymized usage data.

Facebook and Instagram data

When you comment on our Facebook Page or on our Instagram posts and ads, or when you message us on Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, we receive your public profile name or username, your profile ID, the content of your comments and messages, and any contact details you choose to share (your name, email, or phone number).

We use this information to reply to comments and questions. If you comment asking about pricing, availability, or location, we may send you a private reply so those details stay private. We also moderate comments on our Page and ads, including hiding comments. When you share contact information and ask to book or learn more, we add you to our customer relationship management (CRM) system so our team can follow up. We use an internal tool connected to Meta's APIs for this. It only accesses our own Facebook Page and Instagram account.

We do not sell this information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our CRM provider, under confidentiality, or when required by law. We follow the Meta Platform Terms.

We keep this information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.

How to request deletion of your data

Email hello@marilynlou.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include your Facebook name and/or Instagram username, and the email or phone number you shared with us, if any. We will confirm your request and delete the data we hold from your Facebook and Instagram interactions, and from our CRM, within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.

You can also delete your own comments and messages on Facebook and Instagram, and remove app connections in your Facebook settings.
